For 35 years, Innovant has been shaping workplaces that anticipate the future. These pillars have evolved over the last three decades, but they remain the foundation of everything we do. The ingenuity of our team, the discipline of our approach, and the intelligence of our solutions are the qualities that have carried us forward since day one and continue to make design work with Innovant.

People

Recognizing a gap in the market for workstations that could meet the heavy technology requirements of trading floors, Charles Braham, Garrett Pluck, and Joan Gullans founded Innovant to deliver a smarter, more engineered trading solution. The team they assembled around that mission became the driving force behind Innovant’s evolution, defining the company’s path over the next three decades.

From the beginning, Innovant has been steered by a core group of creative leaders across marketing, product design, engineering, manufacturing, and sales - the same leaders who continue to drive our success today and shape our vision for the future of work.

Their longevity is more than just years of experience; it’s proof of their ability to cultivate and build upon industry relationships, and their aptitude for anticipating industry shifts that allow for our continued growth and innovation.

At Innovant, challenges are met collectively. Our core team draws on years of shared expertise to craft solutions that respond to changes in the needs of both individual clients and the marketplace as a whole. Process

For 35 years, we have approached every project as a partnership - maintaining open dialogue between the project team, and using that shared perspective to unite client vision with our technical expertise. This partnership-driven process has allowed us to remain both adaptable and exacting, delivering a product that aligns precisely with each client’s goals, aesthetic, and long-term operational needs.

It is also what has allowed us to maintain a deep understanding of what is happening in the marketplace - how people are working, how technology is evolving, and how design is adapting to support both. That awareness remains essential to how we work today, and it’s what has allowed us to understand not only what clients are asking for, but why they’re asking - and what they’ll need next.

By working closely alongside clients and partners, we gain early insight into emerging behaviors and engineer solutions that don’t simply respond to change, but help lead it.

Product

We began with a clear purpose: creating trading desks that could house heavy technology equipment in a sleek, intelligent way. Once perfected, those same principles of engineering and design carried us into the broader world of workstations and benching, where the need for flexibility and technology integration was just as pressing.

Still the one of the most products in our collection, FORm_office was originally developed to streamline and elevate the height-adjustable workstation at a time when that feature was far from standard. The care and foresight put into its design created a clean, adaptable framework: a canvas for clients to realize their own vision of a workstation, both aesthetically and functionally.

With products like Palette, we’ve brought that same commitment to engineering into the private office, combining material and finishing quality, state of the art technology integration, and unmatched flexibility of reconfiguration.

Through every expansion - whether trading, workstations, or private office - our focus has remained steady: intelligently integrating technology, anticipating change, and designing with the future of work in mind.

Today, product launches such as Mobi and the award winning Identity Collection represent the culmination of decades of learning and innovation. They bring together precision engineering, timeless design, and the flexibility to adapt to tomorrow’s needs - qualities that have always defined Innovant’s products and always will.

Over the past 35 years, Innovant has remained unwavering in its commitment to delivering thoughtful, forward-looking solutions.
