A New Approach to Law Firm Office Design

Over the past year we have been pressed by many of our designer and dealer partners in the marketplace to express how Palette, our premium private office / team room family of products, is ideally suited for the current and future needs of the law firm workplace.

Palette is a system of high end millwork elements integrated within an engineered wall system that can be specified and arranged / rearranged to suit different needs of the office environment. In this study we imagine fulfilling the needs of various types of offices in a law firm with a standard 12’ Palette lattice positioned on each side of a 15’ x 15’ room.

Standard credenzas, wardrobes and shelving can populate the Palette lattices when offices are used exclusively for meetings.

When a sit/stand desk is not warranted, a Meeting Room table can fulfill the function of primary desk in a Partner’s office.

In this typical configuration, one lattice is used as the personal space for the occupant while the opposite lattice supports teleconferencing technology and additional storage.

Alternatively, the sit/stand partner desk can be central in the room.

With each wall supporting a desk, credenza and wardrobe, this double office arrangement is suitable for accommodating staff densification such as summer interns.

In the alternative double office arrangement, desks positioned side by side enable the opposite wall to support teleconferencing.
