Recently, Innovant had the privilege of hosting a roundtable discussion about AI use and effects within the architect and interior design professions. Metropolis editor in chief Avinash Rajagopal led an engaging conversation with a diverse group of 31 architects and interior design leaders from the New York region. 

A topic that rose to the top of the discussion is whether AI is enhancing or diluting design. The adoption of AI in architecture and interior design is transforming the industry by streamlining processes. While AI can increase the volume and speed of design outputs, many professionals at the roundtable emphasized that the core of great design still relies on creative ideas, emotion, storytelling, and human relationships.
