Insights from Metropolis Roundtable Discussion – Part 2

Innovant had the privilege of hosting a roundtable discussion about AI use and effects within the architecture and interior design professions. Metropolis editor in chief Avinash Rajagopal led an engaging conversation with a diverse group of 31 architects and interior design leaders from the region.

One major theme was AI’s role as an emerging tool in design workflows. Many firms participating in the roundtable view AI as a support resource rather than a replacement, using it to help teams explore design ideas more efficiently and communicate concepts with greater clarity. The discussion emphasized the importance of collaboration, open dialogue, and technical expertise in adapting to the evolving landscape of technology and work processes.
