Frustrated with the difficulties manufacturers were facing trying to fit casegoods and sit to stand desking in within tight footprints, the design team sought the engineering prowess of Innovant to find a new direction.

Despite not being considered for the project in its opening round of evaluation, Innovant’s late arrival allowed us to demonstrate our speed and skill at problem solving and rapid prototyping. Within weeks Innovant had delivered full prototypes that surpassed all efforts to date.

The resulting product was the first true “workwall” private office in North America, complete with low profile, fully cantilevered sit/stand desks and complimentary soft seating. The trend started by Innovant continues to this day.
