My desk is not moving up.
  1. Ensure there are no obstacles between lower raceway and upper frame
  2. Ensure all cables correctly connected to legs, control box, control switch and power (Left leg cable connects to port one of control box, the subsequent cables and connected clockwise, next leg to port 2, third leg to port 3 etc.)
  3. Push down button on switch until desk is in lowest position
  4. Release down button
  5. Push down button for 5 seconds; during this time all legs should drop down a fraction and then jump back up again. It is essential to observe that all legs attached to the control box go down and then back up if they do not then they have not reset
  6. If the legs have reset the desk should allow height adjustment again

My desk is not moving down.

One of my legs is raised higher than the other.
  1. Initialize the desk. If both legs begin to run down, complete the initialization. If only one leg moves, stop and move to Step 2.
  2. Check motor cable connections. Check to ensure motor cables are not pulled during movement. With a standard, Plug & Play control box, it’s possible that only one leg is connected, and connected to Channel 1. In this case, it will initialize and run Channel 1 only. If there is only one leg but it’s connected to Channel 2, it will not initialize.
  3. If a motor cable was disconnected, try initializing again.
  4. If unsuccessful, connect the desk leg from Channel 2 into Channel 1, with nothing in Channel 2, and initialize.
  5. Try initializing the same leg that’s in Channel 1, but with a different motor cable. If it still won’t initialize, replace the desk leg.

Initialize the desk

  1. Hold Down button on desk panel to ensure the desk is retracted to its lower limit (whether it’s the fully retracted hard stop, or a configured lower limit).
  2. Briefly release Down
  3. Press and hold Down for 5 seconds, wait until all desk movement has stopped, then release
    1. If initialization is successful, you should see a slight up/down “handshake” movement of the desk legs
    2. If you have a desk panel with display, you should also see E01 during this part of the procedure.

Wireless Charging
  1. Remove the case – Some phone cases can block the connection. Try charging without it.

  2. Check your alignment – Ensure your phone is centered directly over the charging pad or sticker. A precise fit makes all the difference.

Something is stuck under my desk.
  1. Check beneath the worksurface – Look for anything lodged between the desk surface and storage elements, like hanging units or trays.

  2. Inspect the hanging storage (if applicable) – Is an object trapped above or behind it? Even a small item can prevent movement and cause damage.

  3. Don’t force it – Forcing the desk down could crush the object—or worse, damage a leg or internal component.

  4. Still stuck? – It’s best to stop and get support. Contact Innovant and we’ll work with you to get things moving safely.

The drawer will not fully close.
  • Check for obstructions – Something may be blocking the drawer from closing completely.

  • Inspect the file bar – Sometimes the file bar can fall behind the drawer and prevent full closure.

  • Pull the drawer out – Carefully slide the drawer out and check for anything stuck behind it, including a dislodged file bar.

  • Still stuck? – Don’t force it. Contact your furniture provider or reach out to Innovant, and we’ll help get things back on track.
