Materials & Finishes
Innovant offers our clients a comprehensive selection of standard materials, applied finishes, and fabrics. On most of our projects, however, Innovant works with our clients and their design partners to integrate specialized materials and finishes to deliver a truly tailored aesthetic.
Fabric
Innovant offer’s four grades of fabric standards from Luna Textiles for seating and partitions. Other textiles can easily be specified after passing in house testing for durability and proper application characteristics.
Veneer
Standard veneer from Innovant comes in various cuts, matches and colors. Species include Oak, Ash, Walnut, Maple, and Birch.
GreenLock™
All our veneers are available in the GreenLock™ sustainable finish program, a formaldehyde free varnish alternative.
GreenLock™ is as durable and lustrous as standard varnishes, but with a measurable decrease in TVOC emissions. When used with select materials, all innovant products are certified to Indoor Advantage Gold by Scientific Certification Systems. Products carrying this certification will contribute to LEED Low Emitting Materials Credit EQ 4.5 and help maintain better air quality in the workplace.
Veneer Matching
Many of Innovant’s clients and design partners expect our veneers and finishing details to match precise requirements. Our sales team and production facility work closely with these clients throughout the process of sourcing and test finishing to ensure a quality match.
Acoustic PET Felt
Innovant has been pioneering the use of Acoustic PET Felt for use in commercial office furniture since 2017. Acoustic PET Felt is a durable and flexible material made of compressed polyester that can be applied in board sheets, panels, wall coverings or even molded into 3D parts to deliver unique acoustical features on desks and in offices.
FENIX NTM Laminate
FENIX NTM is a soft touch, matte laminate with unique performance properties that has revolutionized interior design and made it one of the most desirable finishes in the industry.
FENIX NTM is highly resistant to scratches, abrasion, dry heat, acid-based solvents and household reagents. Thermal healing of superficial micro-scratches is also possible.
Wilsonart Traceless Laminate
Wilsonart Traceless Laminate is another fingerprint-resistant surface that ensures smears, smudges and streaks are almost never seen.
